Service Committee

Thanks to all the scouts who participated in this year's food drive. It was a big success in that we donated over 500 items to the St. Raymond's Parish Outreach Center. They were able to stock their own pantry, with enough food leftover to send to another parish. I'm sure there are many thankful families that appreciate your efforts.

On April 18 four scouts volunteered two hours of their time to serve as waiters at the annual Knights of Columbus/Holy Name Society Breakfast. Thanks to Stephen Ginley, Tim Ryan, Max Schnidman and Sean Sincinito for helping out.

Remember participation in service projects are useful to fulfill rank advancements of school requirements, but more importantly they allow you to give something back to the community you live in and that supports scouting.
