EAGLE BREAKFAST - I would like to congratulate Joe Shanagan on being the Troop's 94th Eagle. 

I would also like to thank Barbara MacLeish and the members of the Breakfast Committee for their usual great job.

Likewise, kudos to Dave Shields for the ceremony, Bob Andrzejewski and Mike Reder for the Liturgy, Art Shapiro

and Joe Tomasello for the photography - Great job all.

    TREASURE ISLANDThe Medical forms, Schedules, equipment list, etc. has been sent out to all Scouts registered for TI. 

Reminder - the balance due for the Scouts is $165 per Scout.  If you haven't paid please do so ASAP to avoid the $25 late fee. 

The Parents/Scout Summer camp meeting is scheduled for 5/17 at 7:30 PM in St. Raymond's School Gym.

   
ADVANCEMENT - EAGLE CANDIDATES - 6 to go to make 100 Eagles in the first 50 years of the Troop. 

If you haven't talked to your advisor about a Project, please do so.

Remember, your advisor, Mr. Shields, Mr. Andrzejewski and myself have to approve your project before submission to the District for approval.

    50TH ANNIVERSARY - Diane Laukaitis is heading up the Troop's 50th Anniversary Committee.

We have begun to plan our celebration activities starting in the Fall of 2002 and continuing through our program year.

25 May 2002               Pinelawn Service  - We leave from St. Raymond’s parking lot at 6:00AM sharp.  Everyone is invited.           

 Scouts in class ‘A’ uniform.  Everyone will get a patch and an early lunch.  We’ll be back by 10AM.

27 May 2002               Memorial Day Parade – Meet at the corner of Waldo and Main Street at 9:30 AM in full class ‘A’ uniform.

 Anyone marching in a school band please give a note to Mr. Sheilds. 

Hotdogs & soda will be provided following the parade by the Village of East Rockaway.

Theme park – Meals – Patches – Wildlife Adventure!!!

                                    Friday 8/23 through Sunday 8/25 – Troop Tee Shirt on Saturday in the park for Scouts. 

Includes:  Two nights camping at Hershey Highmeadow Campground,

Saturday Breakfast in the campground, Saturday Lunch  ‘House’ specialty at various locations in the park,

All you can eat buffet dinner.  Sunday Breakfast in the campground.

 Creatures of the Night Mystery Hunt at Zooamerica on either Friday or Saturday night,

Admission to the park all day Saturday and a ‘Preview’ pass to the park Friday 7:30 until closing. 

Free Chocolate Tour.  Families must provide their own transportation and equipment.

 A limited supply of troop equipment is available.  This is Rain or Shine.  No Refunds. 

All monies must be paid by the last troop Parent meeting.

                                    COST:  Ages 0 through 8 & 55+ is $70.50, 9 through 54 is $73.50
