Directions to Camp Treasure Island is located about half way between Frenchtown, New Jersey and Doylestown, Pennsylvania on Rt 32 along the Delaware River. Click here for a map of the area Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 80 west to Interstate Route 287 south, to Exit 13, which is Route 202 south. Take Route 202 south to the Flemington Circle. Travel 1/4 way around the circle to NJ Route 12, west to Frenchtown. At Frenchtown, cross the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. Make a left turn onto PA Route 32 south. continue on PA Route 32 south to Treasure Island (about 4 1/2 miles). Parking The parking situation is very poor at camp. Since all the troops need to cross the Delaware River in barges the camp sets up crossing times for each troop. Once we have recieved our time, you will be informred in the mail as to what time you should plan on arriving at camp. The troop will be trying to organize the drivers to minimize the number of vehicles that will be arriving at camp. Mail and Phone Calls The Scouts are able to recieve and send mail at camp. The mailing address for the camp is: Scout's Name/ Troop 332 Campsite (You will be notified of that with the crossing time) Treasure Island Scout Reservation 575 River Road Pipersville, PA 18947 Allow 2-3 days for delivery Phone calls are not allowed until Wenesday of the week. This is to prevent home sickness. If there is a extreme reason that a Scout needs to make a call it will be allowed. The Wenesday rule has been made due to situations that have developed in past years. It is in the best interest of the Scout to not dwell on being away but to enjoy the camp. After Wed. phone calls are allowed during the day. There is no way to make a call to the Scouts except for emergencies. The phone for scouts is a pay phone. A normal call to NY is up to $4.00/min. Parents Night Parents and friends are welcome on Wenesday from 4:00pm through 8:30pm. Dinner will be served at 6:15 pm. Arrangementest must be made with our leaders It is a great wasy to support your son. Scouts invite your parents. Dinner is good and there is a tour for the parents.
